Description
High-Torque Flexibility for Smooth, Homogenous Material Prep
Achieving the perfect luting consistency is a matter of mechanical pressure and surface area. The CDT-C-856 Cement Spatula is engineered for clinicians and assistants who demand a “bubble-free” mix. With its dual flat-blade design, this instrument provides the ideal surface tension to fold and incorporate powder into liquid, ensuring your cements, liners, and bases reach their optimal chemical properties every time.
Country of Origin: Oman
Engineered for Resistance and Glide
The blades are thin enough to provide the “flex” needed for stroking the material across a glass slab, yet rigid enough at the shank to handle high-viscosity mixes without bowing. We have applied a high-luster mirror polish to the stainless steel surfaces; this is a critical feature that prevents material from “dragging” or sticking to the blade, allowing for a clean transfer from the slab to the restoration or the tooth.
The handle is designed for a full-palm grip, offering the leverage required to “spatulate” thick temporary materials or glass ionomers without the hand fatigue caused by thinner, wire-style handles.
Craftsmanship: The Sterile Standard
Because cement spatulas are often used with aggressive chemistries and require constant cleaning, the metallurgy must be superior. The CDT-C-856 is forged from premium-grade surgical stainless steel. It is built to resist the staining and pitting that can occur with repetitive contact with acidic cements and the intense heat of the autoclave.
Why the CDT-C-856 Belongs in Your Operatory
-
Optimized Dual-Blade Geometry: Balanced for both the vigorous “folding” of materials and the precise “loading” of crowns.
-
Frictionless Mirror Finish: Ensures a smooth glide across glass or paper slabs, minimizing material waste and cleanup time.
-
High-Leverage Handle: Ergonomically weighted to provide stability and power for high-viscosity luting agents.
-
Corrosion-Resistant Metallurgy: Forged in Oman to maintain a flawless finish even after thousands of sterilization cycles.
-
Precision Flex-to-Rigidity Ratio: Engineered to bend under pressure while maintaining structural memory.
Primary Clinical Applications
-
Luting Agent Preparation: Mixing permanent and temporary cements (Zinc Phosphate, GIC, Polycarboxylate).
-
Liner & Base Blending: Creating the perfect consistency for pulpal protection layers.
-
Restoration Loading: Effortlessly carrying and applying material into the internal aspects of crowns, inlays, and onlays.
-
Lab-Side Prep: Useful for small-batch mixing of stone or investment for localized repairs.
