Direction to Use
Preparation and Safety:
- Ensure you have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, mask, and eyewear.
- Prepare the patient and isolate the tooth using a rubber dam for infection control.
Access Opening:
- Create an access opening in the tooth to gain access to the root canals, typically using a high-speed handpiece and appropriate burs.
Initial Exploration and Working Length Determination:
- Use smaller-sized files or explorers to locate and explore the root canals.
- Determine the working length by taking X-rays and measuring. The working length is the point at which the file should reach within the canal.
Irrigation and Lubrication:
- Use an irrigating solution (e.g., sodium hypochlorite) to disinfect and lubricate the canals. This helps in the removal of debris and facilitates file movement.
Mani Flexile Files Selection:
- Select the appropriate Mani Flexile File (25mm) based on the size and curvature of the root canal. Ensure it’s properly sterilized.
Instrumentation:
- Gently insert the Flexile File into the canal and advance it slowly toward the working length.
- Use a “watch-winding” or “quarter-turn” motion while applying gentle apical pressure.
- Avoid using excessive force, as this can lead to file separation or canal transportation.
- Use the file sequentially, moving from smaller to larger sizes as needed to clean and shape the canal.
Irrigate and Recapitulate:
- Periodically remove the file from the canal.
- Irrigate the canal to remove debris and disinfect it.
- Recapitulate by reinserting the file gently to the working length.
Cleaning and Shaping:
- Gradually progress to larger Flexile Files to clean and shape the canal.
- Continue irrigating as needed to keep the canal clear of debris.
Final Cleaning:
- Use final irrigation with an EDTA solution to remove the smear layer and any remaining debris.
Obturation:
- Once the canal is cleaned and shaped, it can be obturated with suitable filling material, such as gutta-percha, using the chosen obturation technique.
Warranty
- Warranty is not applicable for this product.
