The NSK Surgic AP with S Max SG20 Handpiece is a high-performance dental surgical system specifically designed for oral and implant surgery. Saving a program parameter is as simple as pressing and holding the Memory button. The Surgic AP system comes equipped with a powerful external pump for optimum irrigation capacity. The pump is easily detachable and can be autoclaved repeatedly, ensuring proper sterilization. This feature provides convenience and ensures the system maintains a high level of hygiene.

Setup

• Connect the Surgic AP console to a power source and turn it on.

Handpiece Preparation:

Foot Control Operation:

• Connect and confirm the proper connection of the Surgic AP foot control (FC-55) to the console.
• Familiarize yourself with the foot control’s forward direction operation.

Power and Speed Control:

• Adjust the power output on the console to match your procedure’s requirements.
• Set the desired speed range using the console’s speed control function.

Coolant Flow Control:

• Determine the appropriate coolant flow for your procedure.
• Adjust the coolant flow setting on the console accordingly.

Operating the Handpiece:

• Hold the S Max SG20 Handpiece securely and comfortably.
• Position the bur or instrument at the desired location.
• Activate the foot control to initiate rotation and perform the procedure.
• Monitor and adjust speed, torque, and coolant flow as needed.

Modifying Program Parameters:

• Make any necessary changes to program parameters during the operation.
• Press and hold the Memory button on the console to save modified settings.
